Our Golf Tip
The location of Golfclub Gastein is brilliant: We were very impressed by the mountain backdrop during our first round. The first 9 holes allow you to get into the swing of things, but not too casually.
The narrowness of some holes requires concentration and precision. An absolute highlight is the back nine. Here, you play directly toward Bad Gastein – the “Monte Carlo of the Alps,” and that’s also how the view of the town’s historic buildings is framed.
After a well-played round, we particularly enjoy lingering on the terrace of the club-house. The menu frequently offers specialties that invite you to stay a little longer.
